Who We Are
We exist to glorify God through sincere worship, a worthy walk, grateful service, and bold witness.
Lake Hills Community Church was established in November 1990 when Pastor Dave DeVries started a church plant in Castaic, California.
From that humble beginning of five couples meeting in the DeVries' home, God grew His Church. Soon, Lake Hills Community Church was meeting in an elementary school in Castaic as they continued to reach the people of the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
By God's graceful provision, Lake Hills Community Church moved into the current facility overlooking Castaic Reservoir in 1997, just seven years after the church began meeting.
In 2006, Pastor DeVries left the church to go back into church planting ministries and became full time missionaries helping others to plant churches domestically and abroad. In 2008, Dr. Greg Harris was called as Senior Pastor and in 2009 Pastor Rick Baird joined the ministry as Associate Pastor. In January of 2018, Lake Hills Community Church called its third Senior Pastor, David M. Cummings who is currently serving the Lord into the future.
We are thankful that God has placed us in this region to minister on His behalf with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
