Pastor David will be taking us through the letter of James verse by verse and helping us not only to understand what it has to say, but also to bring practical application to the every day circumstances and situations of life.

Women of Lake Hills: New Fall Bible Study!

This little Greek word, “ÄL-LA-LON”, translated into the English language as “one another” is peppered throughout the New Testament
and is packed with encouragement of how to practically live out the gospel with those God providentially places in our path.
You are invited to join the women of Lake Hills Community Church for this 12 week study beginning September 11th!

"Love your neighbors through thick and thin…
Don’t seek to please them, but to please your Master;
and remember, if they spurn your love,
your Master has not spurned it
and your deed is acceptable to Him
as if it had been acceptable to them.”

Would you like to know how to understand your Bible better? One of the worst things the church has done in the past is seek to prevent people from reading and studying their own Bible. The reason is that they feared people knowing the truth. The church leaders in times past forbid the Bible from being translated into the common language of the people to prevent them from reading and studying on their own. By God’s grace, many gave their own lives and died for the cause of translating it into English, and we are the blessed recipients. Knowing how to study the Bible yourself is a key to spiritual growth and helping others.

If you want to learn how to study better, please join the Castaic Bible study for an 8-part series on hermeneutics - proper Bible study. The study will meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings in September, and the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings October through December. We will have some fellowship, food, and teaching time led by Scott Meadows. We hope you can join us!
